Modern Dark Interior

This traditional farmhouse has taken on a modern edge while not losing its roots. Challenged with bringing a contemporary edge to an otherwise traditional home, our studio produced stunning results. The small rooms were opened by placing a series of larger cased openings where small doors once were. The living and dining spaces gained a strong connection by removing a wall and replacing it with the design of a wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling feature fireplace that expands the view while not impairing the already fantastic and significant proportions found within the home. The aesthetic is complete with new kitchen and bath designs, dark finishes, and large-scale graphic wallpaper. The kitchen takes on the most modern vocabulary and features a hardware less black matte Fenix NTM design.
